If it there was a genuine concern/threat to life as they claim, I have no obligations to it. I wouldn't mind if Gaga or any other artist did that too if they were scared. Safety first.

This is the point, the right to agree and disagree..

Yes, if you see him (or another person taking video/photos) you can always ask not to be shown and he will not show you. My husband doesn't argue with the public on that, that's your choice.  But if you're just out in public, in general, you can be shown unless requested otherwise.
