Madonna said Ray of Light had 13 tracks because i's a lucky number in Kabballah (she even made a song bonus to Europe to fit that number). It's interesting especially since Ariana believes in Kabbalah too.

I’m pretty sure her label must’ve told her to slow down because it’s a lot of stuff in such a short time and want to wait til at least January before dropping it. That and probably want it to go along with her tour. That makes sense and it’s something I expected.

I'm sure the label heard the album and said she needed more time to work on it...its only been a couple of months since she broke up with Pete and now she wants to put out a whole different album mid sweetener era. 

I think they still want her to promote sweetener and not get so carried away with another era. It's kinda messy and I agree she needs to wait to release another album.

Work on the quality of the music...it needs to be worth a whole new era. Not sweetener b sides

None of the songs are sweetener b-sides they all have been recorded the past few months lol. Sounds way better than Sweetener already too.
