E! News shades Madonna, praises Gaga

HILARIOUS. Madonna fans are gonna be PISSED!

Everything they said is correct, and this is coming from someone who doesn't hate Madonna like most here do.

But the narrative is interesting to say the least. They are clearly taking Gaga's side. Is it because Madonna is coming across and bitter and petty? Is it because people genuinely like Gaga now? Is it karma for Madonna's bitchy attitude? Because the narrative would have been completely different in 2011.

Here's another one:

No lies here I’m afraid.

I love Madonna, think she’s iconic. But I think she’s clutching at straws here because she’s bitter, she couldn’t get the acting accolades when she started acting, and it must BUM her out that the girl who came after her is killing it.

Im not saying this cause I’m a gaga Stan, And because I’m totally besotted with her but let’s be real, Madonna is trying to stay relevant and in my opinion I think I’m some ways it may not be shade, I think maybe she is sort of validating herself?

Madonna was the IT girl until Gaga came along and Madonna to me, seems like a cockwomble; she probably hates the fact she’s not the only pop girl smashing it and pushing boundaries anymore and acts out of jealousy. But maybe her posting that video after all this time and making up etc is just her way of saying “I’m still relevant I still inspire, she’s saying what I said 20 years ago so I obviously still matter”

Also tbh if a quote is good then a quote is good? This whole “100 people in a room” thing is quite broad tbh, in fact I remember telling my ex boyfriend years ago that if he was in a room with 100 rugby players I’d still want him. So yeah think she needs to chill

and clearly as she drag these on and on, more and more people that is NOT her sheeple stans got put off by it and stray away from her side. People are turning away from her because she is being toxic.

Also don’t forget that Giuliana Rancic is a HUGE Gaga Fan... she’s always defending Gaga when she’s being roasted on Fashion Police or any E! News segment :vegas:

There can be 100 people on a thread, 99 will support Gaga and just 1 will do mental gymnastics to defend Madonna.

Madonna Savagely Came After Lady Gaga and Her Infamous 'A Star Is Born' Quote

She is one of the 99 people not here for Gaga.

by SHANNON BARBOUR

DEC 4, 2018

Spoiler

Skincare and music mogul Madonna just reignited her age-old feud with Lady Gaga and took the A Star Is Born actor's own words and used them against her. The diss was truly savage, and it might take Gaga some time to recover, you know, when she's not busy counting her $300 million.

These two genius artists have history, and while it's sad to see them disagree about whether or not Lady Gaga and her music are "reductive" copycats and that Madonna should say how she really feels directly to Gaga's face, it is the way it is.

If you haven't been on the internet lately or following Mother Monster, you might have missed that she literally can't stop saying the "there can be 100 people in a room and 99 of them don’t believe in you, but all it takes is one and it just changes your whole life" quote about Bradley Cooper and her ASIB casting. The quote has become fodder for the best memes this fall and this truly hilarious video.

Enter Madonna, who thinks this is just another example of Gaga allegedly ripping her off. Because Madonna has a don't-F-with-me attitude, she took to Instagram to shade Gaga, which is pretty much exactly what Gaga asked her not to do in the first place. Fun!

On Monday, Madonna posted a vintage video from the '80s on her Instagram Story of her saying, "If there are 100 people in a room and 99 say they liked it, I only remember the one person who didn't."

Now, I'm no historian, but it sounds like Gaga and Madonna are talking about two totally different things. Madonna is talking about getting hung up on the critics and likely wanting to prove them wrong while Gaga is talking about how B. Coop took a chance on her, legit changing her life. You could also probably take any quote, add the 100-99 quality to it, and it would immediately sound similar.

Take, for instance, model/dancer Dita Von Teese's famous peach quote. She always says, "You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there's still going to be somebody who hates peaches." I mean, you could legit just flip it around and say, "There could be 100 people in a room who love juicy peaches, but there's always going to be one who doesn't." Does that also make Dita a Madonna copycat?

Madonna should also maybe check on Lindsay Lohan, who said something similar in a Paper interview that came out on Monday.

THIS PHRASE. "I could do 99 things right and one thing wrong, but it's that one thing that will be focused on." @LindsayLohan in @papermagazine

To be fair to Madonna, there are some people who agree with her. One fan wrote, "For all the 11-year-old Gaga fans, just google 'Single White Female,' then you'll understand why Madonna is likely upset."

This might have caused quite the debate online, but Lady Gaga doesn't seem to have noticed, and Madonna truly does not care because she also posted a picture of her all up in the camera and wrote, "Don't F*^k with me Monday."
