People here are so bias like sure Gaga can play that role but Emma Stone is a capable actress. Birdman, Battle of the Sexes, La La Land and The Favourite are just few of the movies that show Emma’s talent and versatility as an actress. She even played Cabaret on Broadway ffs. I feel like emma would bring humour to the character, which is so desperately needed for the main character to be likeable. And the reason ASIB is so intriguing is also bc we see gaga playing a character that is so different than her public persona. Gaga as cruela would be too predictable.
