top 10 for multiple weeks for a pop song in the US is good. even moreso considering shallow isn't conventional pop.

Wow, this rule is stupid AF. Charts are supposed to represent on a weekly basis what is the most popular at the moment, not to... whatever they're trying to prove by creating "movement" on the charts.
