Unfortunately, after this weekend The Grinch surpassed A Star is Born, knocking it out of the top 10. The Grinch grossed about 18 million domestically this weekend, while A Star Is Born grossed 2 million domestically. The Grinch has now grossed 203 million domestically and A Star Is Born has grossed 193 million. Based on the math, it looks like A Star Is Born will stay put as the 11th biggest grossing film released in 2018 (there's only 4 weeks left). Which is great! Bohemian Rhapsody and Ralph Breaks the Internet will come close to beating the movie, but won't do it by January 1st. ASIB is the highest grossing film this year to be shown in less than 4,000 theaters!
