With all the shade being thrown at gaga today I think this is important to remember.

I understand both point of views and that many of us miss the old gaga and we're frustrated by the whole Stefani vs. Gaga issue. However I think we need to remember that she is a person and not a machine. She has real emotions and is incredibly passionate, which is why she seems " overdramatic" in her speeches recently. Anyways this whole issue has been discussed a lot today and I'll just leave this here.

I don't understand all the doubts in the fanbase? I feel like everyone is scared that she is succeeding without all the art performance we are used to. 

The day Lady f*cking Gaga becomes predictable will be the day they close the coffin, that I tell you.

LG6 will be splendid, and so will C3C. Because everything she does it's just so good and even at her lowests she remains unique and intriguing.

She is trying to get an Oscar and gain  the support of ALL the GP, can't you guys bare with her for some weeks more?

When I read that rants what I do is to watch A Star is Born again...and then: wow, just wow, that feeling of a proud "son", because my "Mother" is brilliant.

As it has been since forever, the fans who are defending her statements don't really get what the other fans are talking about. It's not about being "overdramatic" or emotional or wanting the old Gaga back. NOT AT ALL. It's not about wanting pop Gaga back or whatever.

 

It's about Gaga claiming to be authentic and honest and, as you all like to say, having "real emotions", and yet contradict herself everytime a new project comes up. It's about belittle, and sometimes not even acknowledge, everything she has done and been through. She spent YEARS trying to defend everything she did as Lady Gaga, and now everything was a facade? You do realise she used to be angry everytime people claimed that? I mean, sure she wants the GP love and sure she wants the Oscar, but is that an excuse to have a different speech?

She has been like this since ARTPOP. Says whatever fits better the moment. And look, I'm not saying she's dishonest or a liar or whatever! Really! I just think it's too much clear she is an entertainer, a pop star, and therefore we don't know her real feelings and thoughts. And fans need to accept that what she says and does is not completely honest, of course, because she keeps that honesty and personal life to herself and her family and real friends.

I 100% agree with this, and I am one of those fans that is irritated how she seems to contradict herself. It also bothers me how she almost seems as if she is trying to forget her past career decisions. It wasn’t comments like yours that bothered me, but the ones I saw that were specifically just about her being over dramatic. That being said, I totally understand where you’re coming from, I guess I’m just trying to give Gaga the benefit of the doubt, even if it can be difficult at times.

And isn't that beautiful? I think it's amazing she can pull out a character 24/7 and that her appearance, music and speeches are all thoroughly crafted. I understand some fans need to see Gaga as a human, but I honestly love that her whole career is a canvas with each album (or era) being a brush-stroke.

It's not like the gp remembers what she said in the past, we are literally the only people in this whole world that knows every single sentence that she said.. it's just a way of speaking or what she felt at that exact moment.. and sometimes it's just marketing..

And most important, she's not 23 anymore.. after the 30s you become more mature and your perspective on many things is changing and for her it's on her career..

I think this is an important point to make. Who, besides us on this site, remembers all her interviews to say she has been inconsistent? I think her perspective has changed, but also that this ties to her mental health. She seems to be in a more stable place mentally, and that makes me happy for her, regardless of how inconsistent she may seem from previous years. 

Pick any other celebrity and I’m sure you’ll find that they’ve made some inconsistent statements throughout their years. Jeez, I’d hate to have a camera follow me around since I was 23. I know my opinions and perspective on life has changed in the last 10 years, so I’m sure I’ve said some inconsistent things. 

Can’t we just be happy for her that she seems stable and is very successful right now? If you don’t like who she’s become, then don’t follow her anymore.
