All signs are pointing towards Gaga having begun the "respectability" phase of her career. From the dirty underground sounds of The Fame to the arena spectacle of the Fame Monster, the grandeur of Born This Way, the rave of ARTPOP, and the jazz of Cheek to Cheek, she is now decent and accomplished, adored by all.

But is it still exciting? Where's the risk? Does she still need the superfans, her little monsters? I dunno.

It’s just another phase lol. Enigma is coming up and considering the LG6 producers she’s been working with make electronic and techno music I think she’ll bring back her weird side.

I think she has more to risk now that she's an actress. Her craziness is coming back I feel, but it'll be tempered. Gaga can't afford to repeat the public backlash that occurred earlier in her career. When Gaga is representing her own album of course she can dress however she wants, but promoting a prestige picture is different. It's a collaborative process, but the director's baby.

Of course she needs her "superfans" or loyal fans. Joanne debuted the way it did without much of the GPs support. Almost every artist will reach that point of their career where they "fall off" and considering stans call LG4/LG5 her "flop era" she' still doing impressive numbers that most artists couldn't pull off in their lowest lows (e.g. Britney, Xtina, etc).

She does tbh. She will always will. Matter of fact, she need hwr superfans even more so now than when she was on top. Superfans are the one who still buy albums, and attendingbher shows and buy magazines ahe was the cover of, and give free mouth to mouth promo about your new shiz.

I think the better word would be seasoned. I think she'll continue to make risky choices in her pop music. But now she definitely seems more content and mature.
