guyonboard 45 Posted November 28, 2018 Share Posted November 28, 2018 It's been a Helluva long time since I've posted here but I wanted to show my appreciation by sharing the Uncensored version of Paparazzi Live at the VMAs to anybody who wants it, I've seen a couple different "uncensored" versions but this is better, no doubt. I was sorta bad-mouthed the last time I posted it nearly a decade ago, but all I really did was gave it an over-all smoother flow. - I edited the awful choppy intro so that you can hear the entire chandelier crash and appreciate the curtain rise as best as possible. - The vocals and all the instruments have been enhanced to cleared out much of the audience hiss and noise. - Not to mention: appreciating the song's entirety; with "****" sang loud and clear. IKR, although I've been listening to this uncensored version on MP3 more than any other version, as much as possible, like while I'm just walking around smoking a cigarette in the backyard. Ever since my computer crashed years ago, and I lost the video, I've had to watch the butchered version on YouTube and would need to mentally block out that "iconic dramatic silence" and pretend that she was free to scream "****" as loud as she wanted to. Even though this song is impossible to sing with the unnecessary excessive choreo Laurieann had her do, it's such a captivating performance, it's really all worth it for the final chorus- the staggered walk combined with the autotuned vocal still echos years later, and the fake blood of course. This was always my favorite interpretation of "Paparazzi," especially the way the bass booms when she slams her God damned foot down onto the lower half of her keyboard and beats each key into submission. This wasn't a bad interpretation of how it actually went down that day in 2009, nearly a decade ago to this date. Still, something deep inside of me makes me think that somewhere out there in the shattered cosmos of the universe does lie the complete and uncensored version that had been high-jacked ninja style from the very operating booth of the Music Television Industry and is now only being shared amongst those who show the mark of the truest Monsters. lol Great performance, no? guyonboard 45 Posted December 6, 2018 Author Share Posted December 6, 2018 Does anybody else feel like there's a conspiracy going on about how the 1 (and only) lame-ass to upload an HD quality video of Lady Gaga's performance managed to not only miss the chandelier crashing down at the beginning, but also slapped us in the face with a horrible choppy curtain rising at the beginning.
