I've seen her skin tone changes quite often so it is necessary to match foundation/bronzer with her neck. The LA Times photoshoot looks like it was the intention, and the bronze glowy skin for the Elle Women In Hollywood event works for her look. Calling her orange is mean as this is probably the natural shade her skin gets when tan. The face makeup is just darker to match the rest of her body.
