Not that the songs sound the same, but they used the same formula to try to snag a hit.

There's another similarity between Zedd latest hit (The Middle) and this one: Maren Morris in Kelsea Ballerini are both country artists. I'm now waiting for Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood to release their respective EDM songs

although I repect much much more Zedd as a Musician I'd say TC are putting more quality music

besides, they're trying new styles with their other recent songs like side efects, althought you're very right, saying they are reusing a formula they've used in this song
