Personally, I can't agree
Sales are cool, but streams=how many times people actually listen to the song. People can buy an album and only listen to like two songs. People can buy a single and not listen to it.
Streams reflect the popularity of the song

Personally, I can't agree with you either

Popularity is one thing but Sales show how successful the song is. People have become lazy and would rather click and illegally download than to purchase the song. If this was 2007 thank u, next would have already been 2x Platinum in the US. Streams only determine intermediate popularity. Sales determine impact. Sales used to determine chart position and that was a challenge, now all you have to do is listen to a song 10x on spotify and multiply that by 100,000,000 streams and it goes #1. Anyone can get a #1 song now, its no longer a challenge!
