Yes she gets credit on some of the songs because she has input in them but a lot of the songs she recorded were rejects from other singers. It's easier to take something that's already there and take it to a different place with your vision, but it's different than starting from scratch. It's all about time. It takes a lot longer to put an album together where you don't take submissions and write all of the songs together with other writers than taking songs already written and make changes to them.
