Pinoy Pride is Born, Again: A Star Is Born just won its 3rd award! Filipino cinematographer Matthew Libatique won the "Hollywood Cinematography Award" at the 2018 Hollywood Film Awards for his work on Lady Gaga's debut film, the #1 global blockbuster movie A STAR IS BORN.

Congrats to the whole A Star Is Born team! <3

Here are A Star Is Born's 1st & 2nd awards:

1. "Smithers Foundation Award" from the Venice Film Festival Collateral Awards.

2. "Critics' Choice Seal of Distinction" from the Broadcast Film Critics Association. The Seal of Distinction is awarded in recognition of those movies which gain a significant percentage of positive reviews from the BFCA membership.

Anyway guys, correct me if i miss any ASIB award. Thank you. :)

According to their site, the HFA "honors some of the most acclaimed films and actors, as well as previews highly anticipated films and talent for the upcoming year." Some of these "acclaimed films and actors" include Hugh Jackman, Glenn Close Damien  Chazelle and Amandla Stenberg.

You actually forgot to mention the most important award of them all.. The "Compassion in Film Award" given by PETA to Bradley for casting his own dog Charlie in the movie.

Sadly though that it's mostly recognized as "L. Gaga's movie debut" when so many more talented actors/actresses where involved, too  .

Because she's the lead.

It's also referred to as "Bradley Cooper's directorial debut" a lot though.
