No online files had brought this knowledge to the forefront and everyone was running around chasing broken leads. We really got lucky that Professor MD bought the flyer off Ebay and that the seller had the foresight to sell it, it provided the lead that led to the source being discovered. But don't get too excited -- this still is a case of permissions.
