I can imagine her sitting on her sofa, drinking tea and watching other stars flopping while she remains on top as an icon of all times :reductive:

Spoiler

And then there is that Rah Rah B**ch giving her sleepless nights  :giggle:

That J

You guys DO realize that is so gonna be Gaga at that age, right?!  Lol. I can see it already. And that's fine with me.

While I was never really into it, I see now that the older I get the more I appreciate the music of Barbra Streisand.

However, I am a HUGE fan of her as an actress and director. Her film "The Prince Of Tides" is a masterpiece but be prepared because it's highly emotional. I also love her movie "Nuts" where she plays a woman who's sanity is questioned. She is a fine actress and was robbed the academy award for best director on Tides.

I've been getting bad vibes from Barbra recently. I know she's a legend in the industry and I respect her for that. I even watched her version of ASIB so I could see her performance.

But in the articles I've seen about her commenting on Gaga's ASIB, she comes across as a bit jealous. She says she was surprised how much the film was like hers but also said she didn't watch the whole thing. The films are similar in that the male character invites her up on stage but other than that they are totally different films. I've also seen other articles implying that Barbra was jealous and arranged a deal with Netflix for them to show her version.

She also irritated me when she was interviewed recently and she referred to Gaga as Stefani and was like I don't want to call her Lady Gaga, but I understand why she calls herself that. And I thought how dare you. That's her stage name and the name that Gaga would like the public to know her as. You have been given the privilege to call her Stefani in private but you don't have the right to talk to the world and refer to her as that. She just seems so up her own arse like she thinks she's the queen or something. She's used to everyone fawning over her and praising her as a big star and she seems too big for her boots now.

I really think she's jealous that Gaga and Bradley have come along and rewritten "her story" because she thinks it means hers will fade in to obscurity. Also when you factor in that Gaga is allegedly going to perform in her role of Funny Girl, it's likely that she feels as though her achievements are being erased. I'm very good at reading people because I can see micro expressions and the tells that people give away and she's clearly bitter about it. I think that's why she's released a new album, so she can piggyback on the success of the new ASIB and remind people that she's still here.

I don't think so. If anything, Gaga's version will make Barbra's reach the eyes of the younger generation. If it weren't for Gaga's version I honestly wouldn't know about this story at all. They also had dinner together at her house a couple of weeks ago, etc.
