... if she releases and promotes Why Did You Do That? yeah you heard well

I know that many monsters don't like the song that much, BUT I have seen many people (non-monsters) on Twitter saying that issa bop, I've seen youtubers using the song in their videos, on snapchat, etc... It hasn't even been released on Gaga's youtube channel and there are already many people bopping to the song.

And tbh it's one of my favorite songs of the ASIB soundtrack. and don't come at me with "too repetitive", "too shallow" because that never bothered you before. I really think WDYDT? has the best potential and it would definitely be very big cause it's pop, with an urban beat and it's actually a special genre cause it mixes "trap/pop" with more organic instruments like marimba and strings.

So let's wait for Gaga to release a MV on YT and then make this song go straight #1

After that she releases Is That Alright as the 4th single and the world is hers forever

I really don't think it would work nearly as well as you think. It might not be terrible in performance and will be decent but people in the GP found it annoying too.

maybe it would be annoying for the older audience but the young audience would love it. And the chorus gets stuck in your head for hours. tbh I loved it when I first heard it but I thought that I would quickly get bored of the song but I still love it like the first time

That's the only point I agree with you on  . Other than that WDYDT is basic, even for today's chart landscape. So the success might be in the beginning, but possibly free fall shortly after that :lolly:

Ew, David!

Shallow is already a WW smash hit. you said that WDYDT has the best potential but that's not true, Always remember us this way has the best potential to smash WW, its actually charting in a lot of countries right now(WDYDT cant relate), even i'll never love again has more potential lol. ARUTW, INLA and ITA? have the best potential to become WW hits, not the pop songs.

ARUTW is charting in 24 countries(official charts) while WDYD is not even charting in the US Spotify charts lol

To me it should have been the first single...

I get that shallow was in the trailer so that was already promoted for free for months but I'm sure INLA with great promo and radio play could do better. :)

She has been releasing dance pop singles since ARTPOP and none was a WW hit. Million Reasons was probably her most successful single and Shallow is now one of her best hits already. Really, fans are still thinking after all these years that a dance pop single is what she needs to be successful?

Shallow is already #1 in many countries and top 5 in US. Why would we search for hits when the soundtrack has Shallow and the ballads (that already charted on Billboard without being official singles and one of them surpassed The Cure peak)?

Why Did You Do That? is trendy, no doubt but the lesson that ASIB learnt us is that GP is more than teenagers who only want rap and beat-drops. :legend: GP can also relate to ballads when they're timeless and carry emotional power.
