Can't wait for this to be performed at the Oscars and go directly to #1 on iTunes. This song is acting just like DARK HORSE.

Honesty ARUTW is going to have to remain a cute buzz song.

I'll Never Love Again deserves that Oscar performance and to be the legacy of this movie.

Box office Italy (Monday 5/11/2018)

#6 ASIB 32.916 €

TOTAL: 6.091.289 €

ASIB is holding quite well in Italy, because even if it was deleted from the scheduling of many theaters, the average per theater is still pretty high :golfclap:

Nobody is saying that she's brave for talking about exes, people are saying it's commendable that instead of going for the jugular and writing a diss track, she choses to see how each of her past relationships has enrichend her as a human being, even they failed and things didn't end on good terms. The Taylor Swift comparison is a bit out of place and tbh Taylor Swift getting dragged for writing about her exes is a very 2012 thing that kind of didn't happen after she addressed the hypocrisy of it right from the getgo of the 1989 era. And if people still do it, they're probably women-hating nutcases that you should cut out of your life probably.

I can guarantee you that people still do memes of Taylor and Joe with "taylor and her next album" description on it.

I'm not bothered about this hating cuz it's part of Taylor's success and everything turns around this thing, I mean Taylor built her image writing songs about ex, it's undeniable, so it's ok if people still do it BUT I think the comparison is not out of place tho because Taylor did a lot of songs about ex enriching her life but she was always seen as "user of exes for the success" "a victim" "it's taylor's fault" and blah blah blah while Ariana, as you wrote, will always be "the poor girl, she's suffering" and this thing makes me sad and shocked.

I love I'll never love again but It's already hard for Shallow to be played on the radios, imagine for INLA, then if they don't want longevity but more an iconic oscar performance, then INLA is ok.

Yeah but it was out a week earlier in its home market (UK), so worldwide gross will be big already.  We shall see, Venom had a few weeks of big sales and then started to fade as people saw it was crap.

It's pointless to compare it to Venom. It's Queen. The movie will be a commercial success and will not decrease like Venom did. Having said that, do we even care that much anymore? We spoke about BR months ago and people knew it would steal ASIB's audience, but we did not think or imagine ASIB would do as amazing as it did. Both movies are different and can co-exist. Gaga is having a new career peak. That is amazing.

Oh, and I can't believe admin is that lost.in Gaga's numbers,  views, streams and well, basically, in evetything it seems.

BR was expected to be a commercial hit. Everyone loves Queen. ASIB has already earned 300m worldwide in just one month and is 90% on RT with 400+ reviews. Lets celebrate that please.

I don’t mind being a cow about BR, but it will decrease real soon

You are not a cow and no one said that. That is just your opinion - about the decrease. And yes, it may decrease and it will decrease just like every movie does, but there is a huge fanbase following it, music is making people nostalgic and they do not care about the movie being panned. It rarely does count in musicals. It's a high budget movie about a legendary band. I mean, let's just wait and see. One thing is sure - it's probably not gonna be a threat awards wise. We're safe.

Oscar favourites rarely do monster numbers in the box office, there are of course some exceptions, like American Sniper, Dunkirk, Get Out, Gravity, Titanic, but most films nominated in the Best Picture category are not commercial blockbusters.

It's really impressive that A Star Is Born has grossed $295 million being a Rated-R film.

There are tons of movies which gross like $10 million in its theatrical run but will be remembered as classics and important films in movie history.
