Wow....the percentage of the foreign gross is getting bigger and bigger...

Remember when it was 70% domestic and 30% foreign...

ASIB is a global smash :firega:

and it still has Japan to go, a potential huge market. The greatest showman did 48M there, La la land 38M. ASIB already did 2M there just during a festival. and people dared to call ASIB a local success :ohwell:

Looks like Shallow is safe at #1 on iTunes Canada, not even thriller or monster mash overtook it :gaycat:

If the ratio stays the same & the final run is about 400M, it’ll be

Domestic: 225M

Foreign: 175M

That actually seems doable, especially the foreign.

I can only dream about a China release with similar succes as in Taiwan.

Taiwan has only ~24 m people and contributed $ 4.4 million to ASIB

Not sure why Korean doesn't like this movie...

it's about equal with last weekend, which is weird since it was released in several markets at a later date. Seems like Halloween and BR hurt it. Hope it stays a bit more stable this week

BR is already at 75% of ASIB internationally and outgrossed ASIB in the UK already :rip:

I think because of the drug-use scenes in ASIB. I mean korean is known for drug scandals especially in KPOP world with their idols getting caught with it so it kinda understandable as to why Koreans doesn’t enjoy it as much..

I think BR will be alot more front loaded then ASIB though. UKs massive gross was obvious since Queen is from the UK.

They better ship more physical copies. My supermarket has the same one cracked copy on the shelf for almost one week now.

My local Morrisons has been out of stocked for over a week.
