Idea: We've experienced this a few times now and it's always the same pattern: Gaga's radio performance recently has been like... an slow rise, then like a one week stall, follow by multiple stations putting the song in power rotation contuing the rise for a shorter or longer time. I think this is Interscope testing out the star power of Gaga, wanting them to see how well Gaga would do on her own name, until the payola kicks in and they have to invest back into her. I feel like they're trying to get to a point where Gaga doesn't need payola anymore but it's not really working because radio in general doesn't even remotely care about the popularity of the artists/songs, they wanna see cash or won't touch your music.

Halsey's youtube number is so low it makes her Spotify's numbers look very suspicious:air: 700-800k daily comparing to almost 3m daily on Spotify

Tbh I never would have thought that ASIB would boost even the Joanne music video, it's actually close to 20M now :air: Sis is gonna overtake John Wayne in no time

Spotify algorithm favours her while Youtube doesn't.

Prediction: Joanne (the song) will become a classic and 100% reach 100M view and plays on YouTube and Spotify over time and be one of the defining songs of Gaga's legacy. Not impactful once it was released, but slowly starting to bubble to the top of the public consciousness until people realize "Wait this sh*t is hella underrated" and become a cult classic & fan favorite.

They are pretty bad, see last year

Its called the kiss of death for a reason

Last year they did bad. The previous 2 years, their best actress won the Oscar. As I said, they are ok. She needs to win one of the 3 to keep the momentum.

"Ariana Grande is gearing up for her fourth week at Number 1 with thank u, next.

Ariana’s chart domination means Little Mix & Nicki Minaj’s Woman Like Me looks to stay at Number 2 - though the current Number 3, Thursday by Jess Glynne, is fewer than 500 combined sales behind with four days to go until Friday’s Official Singles Chart is announced.

Ava Max should enjoy a sweet spot in the Top 10 as Sweet But Psycho breezes up six places to Number 7."

It says Halsey is #5 so Shallow should be #4 on the new chart.

She doesn't need and probably won't receive (hope I'm wrong) a lot of love from critics groups. They can make or break a contender (someone like Toni Collette and Glenn Close come to mind), but Gaga's momentum doesn't depend on critics groups.

Yes. Sorry. I meant 2014 and 2015. Anyway,  it will be good if Gaga wins at least one of the there from this week.

I dont talk about beeing nominated. Toni and Glenn are still fighting for nominations, while Gaga is in 95%. It is better to arrive with some awards on the Oscar night. It doesnt really matter what the awards are. If u dont win anything, you probably wont win the Oscar.
