6 billion views for Gaga on YouTube, 6,2 billion views if you consider also features :trollga:

The gap is now 44M views with Gummibär and about 65M views with Nicki Minaj :ohwell:

Yeah but ASIB is R rated, not PG or for all ages.  And the Queen songs are perennial favourites.  Also BR is a British film so it naturally gets a leg up in the UK.

I think when all the new releases settle down, ASIB will rise again.  A bit of holiday promo wouldn’t go amiss though.

True I am not denying that. All these points you mentioned contributed to the higher chance that people favour BR over ASIB. ASIB itself is still doing great though given the circumstances. I just wanted to point out that I still believe that both movies are sharing a certain audience and I am sure 2 (in parallel screened) music-driven movies could diminish each other's full potential. In our case ASIBs potential is more affected than the one of BR.

Unfortunately BR made ASIB loose the momentum in some markets. And keeping the momentum is key because unlike music that remains available, when a movie loose a screen it is loosing it for good, so the chances for ASIB to rise again are small.

I don't know if I want them to continue to push Shallow after Christmas or just go straight to ARUTW. ARUTW would be more beneficial because we'd have two hits from the soundtrack.

The Grinch is gonna pass ASIB on the Top 10 highest domestic grossing movies of 2018, our reign didn't last long :cryga:

On another note, there won't be any major release in the cinema for the next 2 weeks, which is very rare. That means Bohemian Rhapsody will benefit from a great hold. While as ASIB lost screens, its performance will be limited

Doncho

Please lets NOT be surprised of ASIB losing screens and audience. Its been almost 2 months since the movie released. This is perfectly normal
