Not sure why Korean doesn't like this movie...

I wonder the same thing. Maybe because it looks kinda country? :noparty: The ballads would slay if they were given a chance

Is ARUTW have a chance to be a hit on the US pop radio?

duh its the most obvious hit on the album... i hope they push it as the second single... INLA is not gonna happen as a single its a sad truth

I don't think it will be that easy, if they are blocking shallow because it's different then they probably will block ARUTW as well.

South korea is a very conservative country. They even have anti-gay laws, so its no surprise that the movie doesnt do well there. The same with Russia.

I think because of the drug-use scenes in ASIB. I mean korean is known for drug scandals especially in KPOP world with their idols getting caught with it so it kinda understandable as to why Koreans doesn’t enjoy it as much..

But how would they know about the drug scenes before watching the film? Unless it's heavily warned before screenings. America has a gun issue but we still go see plenty of films with guns.

It's not like ASIB is a super gay movie :selena: Drag queens are the gayest thing in it and even Girl's Generation had drag queens in their MV last year.

There are some parts that could be edited to fit the market though :deadbanana:
