Your definition of pop is as outdated as your mind, because even critics can point out 20 pop songs better than the 2 you mentioned. No Tears Left To Cry sounds like every Max Martin basic pop song.

Yes. I'm not allowed to post flamebait but if you search for "Review Girls Like You" on youtube you'll find someone called "Todd in the Shadows". He accurately said that GLY is the worst Maroon 5 song they ever released.

Actually, NTLTC is very inspired by Timbaland The mixing, the synths everything points to Timbaland's production of the mid-2000's production style. If you want a basic Max Martin song look at I Kissed A Girl

I didn't? He's by far the best producer of all time and even his biggest duds are better than most peoples careers. But i don't think he and Gaga could work well together His style and Gaga's vocals don't really match and if they work together i can only see a pop-rock song working kinda effectively.
