What is the difference between each versions of EXO's new album?

So I'm excited for EXO's new album and want to order it but idek the differences between each version. 

I know EXO isn't the only band to do this as it's very common in KPOP to have different versions; like with BTS' Love Yourself albums there were the S,E,L,F versions.

 

But does anyone know if theres a huge genuine difference? Can someone please explain this to me.

The covers, photobooks and photocard options are different.  The optional poster would also be different.  

I ordered all 3.  I'd never be able to decide.

I know one version is Chinese/Mandarin and the other is Korean.

They release a Chinese version of all their albums.

Do you guys know why there's only 8 of them on the cover (and of the cover of countdown)??? is there only 8 members now? did another leave?

Lay, the 9th member, mainly does activities in China now, but he's gonna be in the MV and in the song I think, he's just not in the photoshoot.

The 3 album versions will all be in Korean with 1 song (Tempo) in Mandarin. It is the last track.  Lay will appear in the Mandarin version of Tempo only.

It's too bad he isn't on the cover and shown more.  I hope they have photocards of him and that he is in the photobook.

He is definitely still an EXO member 

It's a long reason why he isn't as active of a member, but basically political issues between China and South Korea and also him promoting EXO in China through his solo activities.
