just finished it. its so well written. nothing really scares me these days but this show is definitely creepy/disturbing enough to satisfy my horror craving in october :D

the story is amazing. the out of order timeline stuff sometimes feels cheap in other shows and movies but in this one its done purposefully. its an awesome show. the acting is impeccable all around.

I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.

SILENT HILL

This might be a spoiler to some so don’t read below if you don’t want to know anything about the show until you see it.

I had seen a couple faces in the background of the house in a few episodes and was confused, so I searched this. Turns out ghosts were scattered in the background throughout the entire show! The link below shows most (if not) all of them! I find this so cool and fascinating! The creators of this show went above and beyond to make the house truly seemed eerie and haunted :firega:

In just 10 episodes, THOHH managed to put most of AHS and other horror shows to shame.

It is classic horror done right: methodical, psychological, and just plain terrifying, while also giving us emotion and characters worth caring about. I absolutely loved it!

Can someone tell me if it's jump scare scary or psychologically scary? Like... do y'all let out screams or is it discomforting and disturbing?

If it's both I'm afraid I may be too chicken. :madge:

I finished episode 8 last night, it's amazing! I tend to get annoyed when series don't do properly this back-and-forth thing with the timeline and the flashbacks, but this was so well thought and so well connected that it was so satisfying to watch.

Episode 6 is the best thing I saw in a while.

I loved it too! Although, I also love AHS and don’t really think it’s fair to directly compare them. This is classical horror, as you said, and AHS is more of a camp drama on a horror-themed canvas. I’m not complaining though, I’ll take all the horror stuff I can get. I eat it up like candy

Luv u Sum

Ummm so I finished episode 5 about 2 hours ago and I'm shocked... :saladga: this show is was more intense and emotional than I anticipated.. it's really good but I'm either crying because I'm scared or crying because I'm depressed.

:poot: but I'm so invested in this family and story line I cant stop now

A question for all of you who have finished the show:

Spoiler

in the last scene of the last episode we can see the family celebrating Luke's two years of being clean. Steven's wife is also there and she is pregnant. How is she pregnant if he had a vasectomy? Were they maybe still in the Red Room?
