Britain has just as much a problem with racism as the US. It's just less publicised because there are a less minorities. The US will be 50% non-white in thirty years so there are bound to be more tensions. The UK kicked out a generation of Caribbean immigrants who had lived and worked here their whole life only recently..

Because he doesn't have to....

She's a ****ing stranger. She has no right to "detain" him and ask him questions like that lol... Even cops need reasonable suspicion before being allowed by the law to do that. You can't block people's movement like that. He could actually sue her if he wanted to, but he took the high road.

I'm the first to care about racism and harrassment of any kind but I just don't see it here.

From what I understand she opened the front door and saw a guy wanting to go in without using a key. I actually think it's a good thing she's like erm no, do you guys know how many people have broken into apartments with the "can you please let me in? I live here but I forgot my key" excuse

I don't know her but I see no reason to believe, from this video alone, that she wouldn't have done the same with a white guy.

She, like, made no references to his appearance and was constantly referring back to the fact that he wasn't using his key to get in. I hate to say it, but it's true, if he had shown his key (not the room key, but the one they use to get into the building itself) she would've been fine, though she'd probably have added (justifiably) that in the future he shouldn't expect to go in without a key, unless of course they know each other.

The fact that he started filming her alone is proof enough, for me anyway, that this guy wanted to create a racist narrative all by himself.

She seems friendly tbh.

It’s so easy to assume things without concrete evidence as well. You have no idea what this lady’s background is, if this is a common occurrence at her apartment complex, or a variety of other things that could have lead her to act this way towards him. Blaming every negative experience like this between a white person and a black person to racism just doesn’t make sense. No one is saying racism doesn’t exist, but not everything you think is racism is actual racism. 

As an aside, I’m not sure what you found funny in my previous post. I’m glad a different opinion to yours could be found so humorous
