People just seem to miss the biggest point of this!!! It's been stated that she doesn't wear the type of coats in which the animal has been skinned alive.! That they're too expensive, meaning she hasn't bought one yet. Yes, she has and will probably buy more REAL Fur coats, but that doesnt mean the animals were tortured. They were probably done in a better way.

We use animals for so much crap, so those of you that are getting offended by her wearing fur, you should go look in your fridge, and get mad at your parents also for buying eggs, milk, beef, ham, and all this other animal produce.

Next time you point your finger I'll point you to the mirror.

I bet you if it was any random rich b---h out there, nobody would even give a fukc, and I'm pretty sure she's not influencing any of us, because tbh, only about 5% of little monsters would be able to buy an authentic Hermes Fur Coat. So whatever.

Wow, such a long response for no real answer. :coffee:

Now I'm kinda assuming that it was real fur...which I don't love but it's not a big* deal to me.

.... I'm just taking it day by day waiting for the full FAME commercial.

That trailer got me SO pumped :rockstar:

she defended her own beliefs and didn't conform to the views of the public and some of her fans, thats something a lot of celebrities wouldn't do. i truly admire her.

I loved the meat dress precisely for these reasons : people were outraged but no one would bat an eyelid if she had stood there wearing the hide of animals as a leather dress.

I love her even more now for outright calling PETA childish and violent because they are.. But few famous people will ever admit that, because they want to have the option of the PETA "I'd rather go naked..." ads when their careers are in need of a bit of attention.

I personally don't wear leather or fur, but if I had millions of dollars and could afford just about anything, maybe I would surprise myself.

And she knew exactly the reaction she would get by wearing it too.. Trollga

I've never thought about the meat dress in that way! That actually makes me like the fact that she did it more.

If she were anti-d--gs and pro animal rights and started trolling people on the internet, you'd all be worshipping those things.

She just STATED that she's pro animal rights, hence she does not endorse violent or childish organizations like PETA (because it IS close to her heart) and she is not a hypocrite by not stating now whether or not it's real fur she wore (it isn't) since she wears leather and other animal-derived clothing but nobody makes a fuss out of it so why would she force herself to respond in a hypocritical manner to this...because PETA, of all organizations, said so? ;)

I love how cleverly Gaga worded this. :legend:

She got her point across that it doesn't really matter if her fur is real. She even added some subtle PETA-shade in there and praised Kim K. :dies:

Well I get what you're saying, but it's really more of a want than a need imo. Vegetarianism is always an option. I want my hamburger more than I need it lol. So I don't really see the difference between the two uses, but I respect your opinion if you do!!

Exactly :rofl: LOVE IT;

She didn't address whether it was real or not. She just cleared up her position on the whole thing. Why should it matter anyway?

Because the fur trade is cruel, unnecessary and disgusting. The lives of animals are far more important that a fashion statement tbh.

LOL Yeah, take that, PETA. She wore Kermit and raw meat and **** and you didn't care!

She stated that she doesn't wear skinned fur.

Scheisse ._.

It kills me that people only go crazy when someone wears fur, yet elements like leather (which she's worn serveral times) are ignored. I say if you don't like it, don't fukcing wear it, but don't go judging and bashing people who do, especially if you eat meat because they're just as cruel (if not more) to farm animals. PETA can blow those comments out their ass as far I'm concerned, and by the way before you go crazy over her wearing fur, go take a look in your own closet and think about the little childern who are being slaved out and abused possibly just to make your lovely pair of skinny jeans, or plan white T-shirt.

if you kill a cow and take the meat for food products, i think its fine to also make leather of it's skin. But i don't think its okay that 20 animals has been raised in 40*40 cm cage their whole life, to then be skinned alive just so it would make a fine coat

a huge difference, not even compareable

receipts? I saw no evidence of that in her post on littlemonsters.com. There are a number of pictures of her wearing fur over the last few years.

I find it ridiculous how some members of this fanbase becomes so deluded with their obsession with Lady Gaga that they are no longer capable to think rationally about issues.
