Hopefully people don't see this and start making suicidal posts just to get Gaga to comment on something of theirs I sure hope not. That would be disgusting indeed Plus, when someone wants to kill themselves just because their relationship didn't work out.. Sort out your priorities, please. I don't agree with this tho. Everyone deals with these kinds of things differently. Just cause you may not have experienced that after a break-up does not mean no one else had. That is plain ignorance. What he should do if he's indeed feeling this way is get help immediately. Go to his family if he can, or call a hotline and get help elsewhere. As I'm sure many of you know, when being in the suicidal mindset, all rationality goes away and the subconscious does whatever it can to save itself. This was his way of reaching out. Childishly calling it "attention seeking" and being upset that it "inconveniences you" is extremely selfish. Suicide is very preventable, but sadly it is overlooked because most people are insensitive and only care about their own issues. You can not criticize someone's behavior when they're sick and hurting like this. I'm glad he's okay and I hope he doesn't go back into that mindset again. Bless you, and bless this post. To all those calling him an attention *****, why don't you sort out your priorities as opposed to mocking and putting down someone who's going through a tough time? Most suicidal people do not seek attention nor help like this one. They will mostly walking away from crowds. And begin acting like an exile. Since last thing they need is people that will stops their intention to end life. There is close family of mine that died because of suicide so i understood exactly how is the mental state for actual suicidal people prior their death. Besides, he need to point that knife to his jugular if he actually desperate that he wanna die at instant. Slitting wrist is not that fatal. Only handful of people that knows how to do it, while most of them survived If the rates of suicide by slittling wrist can give you a clue, it is only 1% as it is mostly done for self mutilation than for suicide. Hence i calling him attention seeking. Being symphatetic is one thing, and being mushy is another. One must be wise to know when is to be symphatetic since the fact is, there is more than one cases where bad guys taking advantage of our symphaty for their own good. Also, your name calling people as selfish and ignorant is not right either. You have licked your own saliva before you know it for that. You're still generalizing and acting as if EVERYONE acts and behaves the same way when contemplating suicide, which shows your ignorance already. Human behavior is not so simple though. I study psychology I would know. I'm not sayin he wasn't just attention-seeking, but we can't assume that's what he was doing. Perhaps he was attention-seeking, as a (unconscious) motive for him contemplating suicide itself. You can't be so sure. Keep an open mind. And also, I can say people were being selfish and ignorant. Everyone tries to act as if they know what this boy was doing, when they know absolutely nothing. How can you say he wasn't going through a very serious time, as many of you guys are acting as if it's nothing, and that he just wanted attention? Bless both of you, yes, the guy is probably just making this for attention,expecting Gaga to dedicate a song for him like she did with Jamey, which would make him pathetic, but we dont know that, NONE of you know that, what if he is really going trough a hard time? He just reached for help, some empathy and for someone to listen to him, I'm not saying its right to do it that way, posting a creepy photo and putting Gaga in a place she doesn't deserve, but we don't know how he really feels, he looks young and he isnt probably out of the closet like to talk to his parents about his BF dumping him. The worst thing is hat he looked for help in a place where he expected to, that even has a code that says:be respectul, tolerant and kind. and now everyone turned on against him, and everyone is now judging him. And tbh, didn't Gaga use to say, like at showstudio, that she keeps in touch with some troubled fans parents? Her response was good, but it kinda seemed she didn't care.
