RAMROD 109,783
Singer Taylor Swift has reportedly seen a bump in album sales since she broke her career-long silence on politics and endorsed two Tennessee Democrats ahead of midterm elections. Mic reported Wednesday that four of the country music star’s albums have risen in ranking on the iTunes album sales chart since she announced her endorsements on Sunday. Her sixth studio album, "Reputation," was ranked No. 32 on the sales chart the day before Swift’s announcement. On Sunday, the album moved up to No. 25 and by Tuesday the album hit No. 14. Since Swift’s announcement, Vote.org also says it has seen a flood of new voter registrations. “We are up to 65,000 registrations in a single 24-hour period since T. Swift's post,” Kamari Guthrie, director of communications for Vote.org, told BuzzFeed News earlier this week. “Vote.org saw [Tennessee] registrations spike specifically since Taylor's post," Guthrie continued. In her Instagram post on Sunday, Swift, who has long stayed quiet on her political views, endorsed Democrat candidate. She also discussed her support for LGBTQ rights and condemned racism. Azor Ahai 18,861
Yeah instead of selling 100 copies she's selling 150 now I guess. Not really that impressive if she didn't even go top 10.

Considering everyone and their mothers thinks she was a Republican, this is still really good tbh, her peers who did this would likely quickly denounced (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ hating pop music doesn't make you deep (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡

DiscoHeaven23 35,007
I haven't been a fan of hers since the early days of the 1989 era (i actually was never a fan of hers prior to that either), but i do respect her a lot more now for this "coming out" moment. perhaps it's 2 years too late, but this election is almost as important. Older fans may not be influenced by her, but Genration Z (those newly registered voters) do. It's when they start forming their political opinions.
