Are you seriously meltdowning over a #13 on HOT100? US isn’t the world. You should enjoy the success both Shallow and ASIB are having everywhere, instead of focusing only in the US, where it peaked at an awesome #5. Shallow is #1 WW for a 30th day, our Spotify numbers are amazing considering our standards and we reached the top5 WW. The boxoffice is also excellent. So, what’s wrong with you exactly?

No one is actually melting down. Most of the posts have been lighthearted or jokes.

Its all on radio now. I can see Shallow going back to top10 if radio increases. The real question is if they should wait for radios or prepare the next single, at least in US.

I think if they have any sense the next radio single should be ARUTW, with a radio edit sans crowd noise.  With a video release too.  I think it will work more than INLA because it is radio friendly and short.  They can use INLA for the Oscars campaign period.

During Joanne era her team/label didn’t persist enough with streaming and now they’ve done a good job with ASIB instead.

I just hope that the lack of radio can be fixed as well during LG6 era.

For the rest, I don’t care about US, i’d take #1s in UK and Australia and overall success for movie and soundtrack everyday.

If they sent one check to Z100 for even sub-power we would spend at least 10 weeks top 10

I don't think they intend for ARUTW to be a single. It doesn't have a radio edit like Shallow. She could have a second top ten this era:messga: It's sad because ARUTW would be way more successful than INLA, albeit not as iconic.

Oscar campign will be on power rotation from december.

Thats also the real difficulty. They could easily try some things for charts, but they need to think 2 times for every move. For example, I dont know if it will be good that a song that will slay the charts wont be the one nominated.
