Shallow's success is so weird to me still. It's such an unconventional song I never expected it to go higher than #40. Imagine if it was more polished ala "Hello" whew

I think one of the reasons why Shallow is doing so well is because the song is unlike anything on the charts at the moment. The structure is different from the typical „hit song“ these days. Besides that the song is the signature song of an incredible movie and the song itself is fantastic! :applause: I‘m just so happy people recognize talent this time :queenga:

A HUGE part of it is Gaga's "AHHHAAAHHHAAAAHHAAAAH" belt.

It's such a good melody and refreshing and people wanna sing along and also recognize pure talent. And the chorus repeats so I guess it's memorable too.

I can't believe that a #1 single and album in UK is most likely to happen. What is this sudden huge success

Can someone please find out if someone has ever had a #1 album, song, and movie at the same time in the UK? I want to write a dramatic ass "Lady Gaga Makes History" article, but I need facts

Can we talk about how Gaga's monthly listeners on Spotify are 26million and keep increasing every day? The best test of stability will be after next week.

iirc, the highest it was under The Cure was 18million or so, and before ASIB, it was 11-12million.

During The Cure she was at around 20 million and before she was at around 12.5 million. Once ASIB fades, she’ll loose a part of those new followers but my guess is that she’s gonna be stable at around 18-20 million for a looong time since we have Enigma coming up followed by the awards season.
