:air::air::air: with actual numbers it can go up to $20M :air:

I can't believe saying this but $200M is on lock for ASIB in the US :air:

Who would've thought the most optimistic estimates were saying 140M and it's going to surpass that next Friday :messga:

I think that’s too much. If I had to guess (based off of current movies), it’s run will be similar to A Quiet Place in the US only. I would say it’ll probably do a little less than AQP (189M). Sooo, I’d say 170-175 as a conservative guess.

Yes I was thinking about that but ASIB is an anomaly. The soundtrack is HUGE in the US and ASIB has the Golden Globe/Oscars buzz.

Last weekend's number?

I meant, it made $51 million overseas as of last weekend...

Given domestic 126 million as of today, it should be at least $178 million

How long will they track? Maybe we can reach TOP 10 :staymad:

At the same point in time as ASIB’s current release AQP had $131 in the US compared to ASIB 126. AQP was also an anomaly for its genre (and PG-13 rating). So I just said net net that would fall out & base my guess on current actuals. The soundtrack may keep people going to see it and may make $200 realistic but unless the weekend grosses either stabilize or drop by 5-10% week over week, I don’t see $200 happening. I don’t say this to be negative or anything. Even $170 for domestic is beyond anything anyone could have hoped for months ago.

Is ASIB getting a Chinese release? If not, that’s really going to put a cap on the foreign gross.
