The same can be done for ANY of Gaga’s best work.....Gaga has always been 100% promo sensitive. Honestly all of this slayage reminds me of 2008/2009 when Gaga was outdoing some of the hottest names back then by bucking trends... and starting new ones. Gaga is at her best when she's doing her own thing and carving out her own lane in pop music rather than doing what everyone else is doing. Joanne might not have spawned the hit singles we had hoped for, but the fact that a number of established (white) pop stars then released country inspired albums a year later... Hmm. Edit: That's not to say following trends is a bad thing or doesn't result in good music too, just saying that Gaga in particular seems to thrive when she's carving out her own lane in the pop music sphere.
