BBC Radio 1 had to play 'Shallow' just now due to the Chart Update Countdown

Bur of course that cretin Nick Grimshaw had to slag off A Star Is Born, saying the film looked "annoying" even though he's never... been... to see it...

Lady Gaga is fighting for the top spot on this week's Official Singles Chart with Shallow - her Bradley Cooper collaboration from A Star Is Born.

The song from the hit movie is just 625 combined sales away from Number 1 in today's Official Chart Update (October 22), behind current leader Promises by Calvin Harris & Sam Smith.

If Shallow overtakes by Friday's Official Chart, it'll be Gaga's first UK chart-topper in nine years, since 2009's Telephone.

Two more tracks from the film are on the climb: I'll Never Love Again jumps nine places to 25 and Always Remember Us This Way lifts five to Number 26.

He’s pressed because he didn’t get that interview he wanted when she was in London. :ohwell:

With a 40%+ lead on iTunes surely it’ll make up the difference before Friday

I'm so proud of Gaga I could cry
The media and GP were so harsh towards Gaga a few years ago, but she never stopped working and believing in herself and proved all the haters wrong multiple times. Gaga is the living proof to me that if you work hard enough for your dreams, you can achieve all your goals. Gaga was, is and will always be the biggest inspiration in my life! I love her so much :sara:

Normani just released 2 singles with General Public Harris. Should be worried? Or will Shallow be unbothered? :staymad:

Too early to tell, hopefully the light goes off Promises and then it may help us...
