PerfectGUY 7,822 Posted October 21, 2018 Share Posted October 21, 2018 Just came back from my third viewing With friends that I had to drag in the theatre as they just couldn't think it was gonna be anything but bad. I got them to accept to go. We arrived 20 minutes early... but the movie theatre was full (3 weeks after release). So we went to another cinema in which there was a screening 30 minutes after. I was kinda surprised it was still in the biggest room of the cinema, more than 3 weeks after release Surprisingly I enjoyed the 3rd time more than the 2nd one. And also the audience was wayyyyy more receptive than the ones before (maybe because I was in more of an intellectual neighbourhood and that the previous times I was in a posh one ??). The audience laughed a lot, was more involved. My friends LOOOOVEED it... but like REALLY. At the second the movie ended, my one straight male friend that would always mock me because I listened to Gaga said 'I'm downloading the soundtrack immediately', an other girl said 'I'm gonna spend the night listening to it' I'm so happy people think that much about the soundtrack when they finish the film. They were shocked at her singing and her acting. (They HATED/DESPISED Why Did You Do That?, I tried to sell them the greatness of the SNL segment but they hated it bc of the music ) Anyway, I'm realising more and more people around me are going to see the movie, this is huge, especially in France. I think only Billboard changed and is doing the 3750 thing.
