Remember 2008-2014 when pop girls were big everywhere? Literally all of them ruled every chart.

:lmao:trueee, what's up with all these lils names.

Yes, times have changed  And even in the UK where we still have big pop music, most of it is crap and lazy dance stuff  This is why it's so monumental that Gaga has a #1 album as well as a legitimate hit on her hands here right now because she'd been all but written off.

2 noms splitting votes gives me anxiety.

I think they will go for IWNLA for Oscars...

and Shallow for Grammys...

Would be weird but maybe Shallow for the Globes....

If Shallow becomes a hit hit than they may forgot about IWNLA and stick with it.

Shallow is already a hit :diane: As much as the last scene is big and features INLA and really impacts you,I think they should stick to Shallow all the way for award season, it's the movie song after all :selena:

Lmao people were saying that for TIHTY and it didn't happen :rip:

I'm not counting any chickens before they hatch at this point.

Yeah I know... me too. BUT if it doesnt happen people will get mad at the Oscars. TIHTY was the predicted winner but no one really knew the song. It got nominated just because of Gaga s star power... and Diane I guess. Still, we are COMING :vegas:

Looks like a garden salad to me. A few cherry tomatoes (and some bacon) are overwhelmed by the heap of greens.

Gaga finally has over 20M listeners on Spotify. You don’t know how happy I am to see that number.

You know this is just my opinion, right?

Yes the vote splitting potential is risky. However it is worth noting that several films have had multiple nominations for Best Original Song. Fame, Flashdance, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Philadelphia, The Lion King, Slumdog Millionaire, La La Land all had two or more nominations and they all won the category.

Yentl, Footloose, The Bodyguard, Dreamgirls and The Princess and the Frog are the only films that received multiple nominations that didn't win in their given year. So actually, I wouldn't say it necessarily harms or helps the chances if there was more than one nomination since most films that got more than one nom ended up taking it home... It's tricky

Yeah, the voting ballot didn't help either since it only showed the title song + the film. I remember Diane Warren posted it on twitter, but I think she deleted it :diane:

Oh btw, A Star Is Born was the second biggest movie in the Dutch cinemas behind Venom last week. It raised $1.2 million here, which is a lot for a small country as the Netherlands. :vegas:

Are you sure it raised 1,2 million, where did you see that? :air:
