Technically pop music is still considered music. I listen to a lot of music, but yes, a lot of it is generic pop. But let's be real here, many of us fell in love with Gaga during The Fame, and that to me was pretty generic pop.

I am classically trained in piano and voice, just prefer to perform it and not listen to it.
