The Stars Are Aligned For Gaga‘s Pop Comeback

I think she (could/should) still do Pop but leave a couple breadcrumbs like ASIB ballads in her albums.

For performances, she can keep it theatrical with high fashion but nothing like early days.

In in other words, she had always given either “Lady” or “Gaga.” She could be successful as “Lady Gaga.”

She can slay acoustic pop (guitars, pianos, simple drums, etc) with the next album. With maybe some old time 70’s/80’s rock/disco/synths in there.

Since that type of music is generally well appreciated, I feel she could do a killer pop album in that area.

Y’all ever considered just letting her do her thing and appreciate whatever she chooses to create instead of running these wild hypotheticals about her career trajectory... like little managers never could’ve predicted that her return to being in everyone’s mouth would be with A Star Is Born alongside Bradley Cooper.

And I think Joanne to some people was “weird” because she wanted to write about her family and make honest music that to her was literally a way to heal her and her family. So in some ways, I imagine she would’ve been uncomfortable pushing songs with crazy promo and marketing when it was about something so intimately personal.

Lady Gaga has and always will be Lady Gaga and will continue to do and succeed at whatever she wants to.

My biggest fear is that everyone is loving her now and she released something so polarising (when doesn't she?) That it has the opposite effect and turns people off and makes them feel hesitant to like Gaga again. They probably want more balladcountryrockga and not popbussyslayingqueenGa. Either way we know the album is gonna be perfect. The gp will always be frantic and whatnot.

Anyway, I'm going to support her for life. She's definitely changed my perspective and impacted my life. There's no way I'd ever leave or abandon her.

Lead single "I:heart:LUCIFER"' confirmed. She did say recently that when people tell her to turn right she makes a hard fu*king left. Her words. :vegas: I dont think she wants to be as controversial anymore though, I really think Gaga always wanted to be known for her voice and talent but she knew she had to stand out at the beginning.

There can be 99 bottoms in the area but all it takes is 1 top to believe in you.

I've been thinking this recently - I really want Gaga to have a second imperial phase in music (as unrealistic as this may be).

The best way to cement her legacy in 2019 is to release some kind of HUGE sonically inoffensive song, which shows off her VOICE. Something like Like A Prayer

In this case, it makes more sense for her to release LG6 and C3C one after another. Double discs aka. Lady Gaga might be coming.:huntyga:

She let talent speak for her all these years and it does manage to secure a solid fan base consisting of people over 40. While, the problem is that she is still kind of irrelevant to teenagers. I wonder how the movie will be marketed to college and high students. :ohno:

my classmates and I recently had a conversation about throwback artists, and I brought up Gaga. That went something like this:
"Is she still alive even?"
"I'm sure she doesn't still make music, does she?"
"Nah, I'm pretty sure she's an actress now."
"Well clearly that's not going wellbecause I haven't seen anything about her."
"I don't care, she's a satanist."
So yeah:ohwell:
Edit: I'm from the U.K, and Joanne was basically non-existant here.

Well said! I found the Zane Lowe interview interesting at the end...you can so tell she's going to go completely opposite spectrum  to ASIB/Joanne for her next album by her body language when asked about her next album! I CANT WAIT!

Oh LAP was hugely controversial! But I said sonically inoffensive, in the same way LAP is. :huntyga:

I genuinely think this is gonna happen as long as she does something ICONIC... not necessarily controversial but I would be down

If PopGa comes back I think she'd do something that's GP friendly but also appeals to fans. Maybe something disco inspired or The Cure-esque.

Of course she always surprises with something different so who knows what to expect.

Actually I felt like her body language was saying she was going to follow through a bit of the current sound she's been going with lately. It was Zane who was insisting she'd probably do something completely different but something about Gaga's body language told me she sort of was hesitant to answer not because she wants to keep the surprise hidden but because she didn't like that he was assuming she'd do that.

All of you guys are so annoying asking everyday for pop music. Gaga is so much more that a pop star. Her last pop hits was in 2011. Get over it. Joanne was a great album and ASIB is her best album since Born This Way. If you don’t like this kind of music go to listen Ariana Grande.
