A Star is Born got off to a superb start this weekend, with a strong $41.25 million Fri-Sun debut frame. Counting those Tuesday/Wednesday previews, that’s a $42.6 opening “week.” Counting the “opening day” as $17.1m (since anyone who saw this film on a Tuesday or Wednesday otherwise would have done so on Thursday or Friday), that’s a solid 2.49x weekend multiplier.

I just feel so proud of Gaga and Bradley. They deserve it SO MUCH!! 43M is AMAZING!! And it will only get better. She keeps surprising us year after year.
