What happened with Perez?! They only did a program together last year. And Joseph Khan? He hasn't done any videos with her for BTW era. Or has he?

Well I know tabloids aren't the most reliable but according to one site I think it was during the filming of "Superfan" with Perez in Australia, they had an argument and she left on bad terms. They claimed the argument was over Luc but if there was an argument I'd think it was about Taylor. But then again, tabloids

I wondered that too.

Perhaps there's more truth to the Gaga/Madonna emailing pre-BTW etc. than is assumed?

I kind of thought that too, when she announced that Madonna had loved it on Jay Leno, she sounded sincere and I think that Madonna only said she did to her because she expected it to flop but when it didn't that's when it all started. I dunno maybe I'm reaching a little but that's what I think. Madonna is pretty powerful in that way. :shrug:

Not Madonna per se -- she never even commented on it during 2011. But other people saying it was an "Express Yourself" rip-off, yes. That obviously bothered Gaga a lot, and still does.

Am I the only one who thought of Madonna as the mentor who took advantage of Gaga?

"Mentor" would imply a level of personal relationship that I'm sure they never had. At most you could call her a role model or idol, I think.
