Funny or cute things happening to you with ASIB

I have 2 little stories I wanted to share in connection with ABIS premiering and finally watching it at the theatre. The first one was last week when me and my boyfriend were talking on the phone being very excited about the movie. Suddenly my bf who was sitting at the bus told me to wait a bit but he didn't hang up. I could here him talking to a very old lady (like 80-90 years old). The old lady after hearing us talking about the movie, got so excited, that she had to ask him what movie are we talking about. She asked about the title, and whether it will be showed in her local cinema, cuz she wants to see this one so much. My boyfriend even explained the story for her, and told her that a young singer, Lady Gaga, who is very popular nowadays is in the movie. She said she never heard about her, but she found her stage name funny :ladyhaha: I'm so curious whether she watched it or not, but as my boyfriend described it, she was really lovely and honestly interested in it.

The other story... well lets just say embarassing and full of heartwarming kindness. Yesterday me and my bf went to see the movie, but we forgot to bring any cash and we only had my card to pay. There were no problems, we managed to buy the tickets, then we tought we would buy some popcorns and Pepsi for the movie. We ordered, used my card and it got denied! Like WTF! We tried it over and over again, and I just couldn't pay it, it was such a bad feeling because I knew there's money on my account, so I just didn't understand what's happening as it never happened to me before. Finally we had to give up and leave, but suddenly we heard a young woman calling for us to come back. She was such a sweetheart and said that she'll buy us the stuff dont worry about it. We could barely believe this is happening that someone would be so kind to us, I almost cried even before watching the film lol. She told us we dont need to give back the money, just do something good for somebody else. Isn't that amazing? Kindness always wins. Later I found out that there's a limit about using your card a day, and I reached the limit just when I was trying to buy the popcorn... Imagine cancelling on me when buying the tickets :cryga: We were lucky tbh

So do you have some cute stories about ASIB?

I almost shat my pants because I was underage by a few days, and the usher actually wanted to check my ID :wtfga: She looked at me for like 5 seconds and then she was like...'ok', and she let me in :diane:

Also near the end, a group of noisy teens just randomly entered the theatre, before leaving immediately, which completely ruined the moment. I guess they came into the wrong theatre...

I went with both of my nieces to watch it today and both cried (one is 16, the other one 13).

The 13 year old kept crying over and over (even waaaay after the film ended). Had some milk before bed, came back to the room and cried again, to falling asleep crying

Well most of my theatre was filled with elder couples :ladyhaha: it was just me and my sis we was expecting fellow monsters but, anyways the old couple next to us began to talk to us about how they watched the Barbra Streisand version of ASIB and loved it and heard rave reviews about this one and were excited. Towards the end the elderly woman was sobbing and I thought it was so sweet when they left the theatre the elderly man was hugging her

Don't go for second best, baby Put your love to the test

I watched yesterday and there were two girls in the cinema laughing quietly yet so annoyingly throughout 20 minutes of the movie until someone said "Can you just shut up!?" and then said to herself (she sat right behind me) "Dumb people" :diane:  :tony: . Also my best friend with whom I was watching the movie is always a bit... special :awkney: . She laughed out loud on cringey scenes and was shocked when the movie was coming to its obvious end and she literally complained to me about it :ladyhaha: .

Ew, David!
