Miel 15,009
Heal Me is surprisingly great, but I'd rather it go to a ballad. 3 points in and ready for more

Sorry, but the songs LITERALLY are meant to signify Ally's decline in morality and substance in her music. They're pretty much parody songs written to be mindless bops just to be mindless bops. Promoting them at all would be promoting a version of Ally/Gaga that the film essentially just isn't about. You got it completely wrong and stop about this made up “parody” mess. They are NOT supposed to be hated on and Ally was passionate about them. Not everyone has to sing ballads or country or anything but pop to be considered good musician. Now stop with this nonsense of a theory.

Glad people are saying it finally. Pop IS generic fun and basic! That’s why we love it. I don’t want to tear up to a ballad every time I turn on the radio or open Spotify. Depressing. I don't get why people keep saying that the pop songs are "supposed to be bad and soul-less." the tea: Spoiler In the movie she's proud of those songs, the world loves them, and she wins a grammy after putting them out. Jackson is the one that says he doesn't like a lyric in Why Did You Do that but it's the same scene that he's black out drunk and calls her ugly. Guest Anisko
Tbh honest I'm even against the fact that heal me /hair body face/ why did u do that belong to the soundtrack... Ok their fun but they ruin the experience of listening to the soundtrack in full. I adore dance music but they seem so basic when u compare them to songs like bad romance/poker face/Alejandro etc ... Her music has evolved and grown so much, but people keep demanding she go back to the basic betty pop of 2009. That’s why this is such a constant discussIon on this site.
