Shania literally dominated the world with this album. It’s got hugely iconic songs on that are still played a lot today... I just can’t. There’s no way you haven’t heard of her. I just want Gaga to continue to give us quality music like she always has and to stop taking herself so seriously, I hope playing Ally who doesn’t take herself so seriously in the second act of the movie teaches her that. The logic in the idea is the same that someone who enjoys both pizza and burgers could be pursuaded into never eating another burger if they had a pizza that was above all other pizzas. Think about that... So many people want their “brand” of singer to be superior in comparison to others but it’s so subjective that you’d never be able to make the comparison into a factual argument I guess at the end of the day some people need that association for their own well-being... it’s the same cancer that’s eroded the very ability for people to vote for the person rather than the party in politics. And people will play Adele nonstop to a concerning degree imo. I think she's good but I don't listen to her music because every station and its mother played Rolling in the goddamn Deep for 3 years straight.
