Okay, so I just got back from the advanced screening at AMC. Can I just say....

INCREDIBLE!!

Do I wish I didn’t hype myself? Yes.

Do I wish I didn’t hear the music before? Nah fam.

this was an incredible film and might I just add, The Shallow sounds 100x better in the cinema. It isn’t a musical film necessarily like ‘The Greatest Showman’, ‘Frozen’ or ‘Hairspray,’ but it’s more aimed at being seen as (and taken more seriously) as a film, rather than a musical movie. Just like with, ‘Walk The Line’ this film focuses more on the story and art of the film then it does the music. The movie would sell without a soundtrack (although yes obviously I prefer and need more than a soundtrack). The  longevity seen in both their acting and music careers is made known. The future longevity in Bradley’s directing capabilities is astounding!

Watch it as it is. Don’t watch it to be this big Gaga soundtrack. The songs and moments with her are big enough to sell the soundtrack. But it’s really more about the film.

Again, referring back to Walk the Line - that is where I can also see the future success of ASIB to follow in the same footsteps as Walk The Line. Enjoy the film as not only what you perceive it to be... but as something bigger than popularity.

And what’s bigger and more importantly than popularity?

LONGEVITY AND TALENT.

10/10 good day. I said good day bless xo

when you talked about focusing on the art of the film. The musicality and all. Reminds me of Music And Lyrics.

wasnt necessarily considered a musical but a great film about music and stories and writing. Love it.

So it's exactly the same version that is going to be played in the movie?

Lol why wouldn’t it be? Is the early screening that everyone is been watching for RT and MC. The fan screenings were done ealier to have a better editing of the file and fine out exactly what was boring. Hence the change of release date. But the film that’s been shown since late September/early October is been the final product :vegas:

I agree. I’m actually shocked at how good the song sounded considering we have all heard it before.

No are we talking about Shallow here?

I'm saying it sounds exactly the same, then how does Shallow sound better in the movie? I know there are visuals to accompany it but the music is essentially the same?

I’ve seen the movie twice now and I’m convinced it’s not he same version. Or it is and they cut a bit out in the movie version (that little bit she sings before the big aaahhhh moment).

I guess I could just be delusional, but I super paid attention today and I’m pretty sure.

I mean for the choruses (especially the one after the bridge) and the post-chorus, are the arrangements neater and more filtered?
