I wish the lead single would come before the first Enigma concert, but the eight solo tracks from ASIB sounds like a very solid work, like a proper Gaga album - stop saying it's Ally, do you guys really think Gaga could't sing those lyrics herself?

She doesn't need to saturate her image releasing a new album at the same time she is being under a lot of hype because of the possibility of the oscar nomination, this could be seen as opportunism by the Academy imo. The soundtrack is an excelent piece of work and the gp will consume it like a Gaga album, the songs aren't that different from what people expect from Gaga: bops + ballads. If they like it, they will naturaly be more interested in LG6 whenever it's going to be released. She doesn't need to stick the new album through people's throaths.
