Cannabis companies in the US which still face some federal restrictions as a result cannot take full advantage of the industry and fear that they will fall behind A California cannabis producer said that if the US doesn't reform it's cannabis laws within next few years, when it is legalized the Canadian Monopolies in Cannabis will wipeout much of the American Competition Canadian Cannabis companies already have the largest market cap globally Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

NZ may be too small tho for its own population to grow the industry enough to be able to dominate other nations if they Legalize it later But who knows. Maybe Australia can give you a boost if you legalize it before they do! I know Australia and NZ export more overall to Asian markets than OECD Nations due to geographical location... Even if we had the political will, we lack the infrastructure, and sadly investment will come too late. NZ might be able to make a small dent in the luxury market though, similar to what we do with manuka honey. Although with the high quality of Cannabis being produced in places like California I doubt New Zealand will have anything meaningful to add to the market. Here in Canada industries with a competitive nature we tend to be dominated by the much larger US which has 9X Canada's population and our economies highly interlinked But hopefully this advantage in cannabis with a head start will be enough for us to do well Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
