Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren said that she would consider running for president at a town hall in Holyoke, Massachusetts, on Saturday. "After November 6, I will take a hard look at running for president," Warren said.

This is the first time that Warren has publicly said that she is considering a presidential bid.

Warren is considered a potential frontrunner in a Democratic primary race, along with former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders. Warren is known for her progressive politics and her populist views on the economy.

Warren has previously said that she was not running for president in 2020. As recently as August, Warren said she was "not running for president in 2020. I am running for the Senate in 2018. The important fight coming up right now is the midterm election."

Ope, she caved in first :ladyhaha:

I would vote for her as things stand now, but ofc we'll see in a year. I really wanted her on Hillary's ticket tbh.

Great for her and 3 years ago i would've said YASSSSSS

but , i don't think she would win now.

Our country is misogynistic and unfortunately the fact that she's a woman would work against her. It would be another Hillary.

Unfortunately, I think the democrats are going to need a man to run this time in order to win.

Like i REEEEEEALLLLY want Kamala Harris to be our president sometime but i don't even think it could happen right now.

Even though he'd be 77, I think Joe Biden would be the best choice. People love him.

Good God, no. I hate making this about looks, but 1) She vaguely resembles Hillary in basic features and just overall looks like a wealthy white woman which won't read well to middle America. That's blunt, but it's why they didn't like Hillary either (scandals aside).

My vote is on Kamala Harris. I think she performed very well in the hearing this week, and she has incredible experience, to boot. Plus, I think she could appeal to moderate voters and has a very commanding presence and level-headed demeanor. Also, she gives off warmth. Trump, even to his supporters, wreaks, but they like that he wreaks. But if you're going to win over moderates and people on the fence, personality matters and I think Kamala could be good at swaying some of the more moderate Trump voters. The funny thing is that much of Trump's base could have actually gotten behind Hillary on policy alone, but the decades of baggage and misogyny really hurt her. I think Kamala could largely get past that as she has no baggage ala Warren. Plus, I could very easily see Warren get steamrolled by Trump. He already has his base calling her Pocahontas. And I can't stand Corey Booker so definitely not him.

Huh>? A lot of middle America's vote went to Trump. He is a rich white man. I don't think Elizabeth has a chance against him, though I really admire her. I think Joe Biden would probably be the only one who could possibly stand a chance. America has a pretty big problem with getting it's younger generaration to vote.

Would love either Bernie or Elizabeth Warren. They have the support of progressives and independents who dislike the corporatism of standard Democrats.
