Love watching her reactions - she feels things so deeply. Too bad I can't watch this one because I'm not watching or listening to any iteration of Shallow until I see the film October 17th :huntyga:

I don’t get why people aren’t about Bradley’s voice lol I think it’s nice. I like that it’s not perfect because, frankly, Gaga’s is and the contrast is nice. Plus, it fits the character. I guess it doesn’t bother me since I also like Bruce Springsteen and David Bowie: two men who by and large do and did not have stellar voices (admittedly so by both lol) but made things work with good songwriting and performance skills.

Also, she likes everything she reacts to because it brings her views, she isn't really in position to throw shade. :awkney:

this lol

everybody loves her, to me she's annoying, seems like she doesn't really have an opinion tbh

Watch her Sweetener reaction video and her no tears to cry video. The Ariana stans are some of the most prevalent on YouTube it wouldn't make sense to drag Sweetener the way she did if she 'isn't in a position to throw shade'.

Y'all really out here making false assumptions about channels you don't even watch lol.

We love 1 negative reaction out of 100. :applause:

You can't really compare how a casual listeners perceives the song to how a die-hard, very involved fan does. Of course for her from her perspective as a detached listener, the song sounds great, but from a fan perspective the expectation were a lot bigger because of all the teasing. A minor inconvenient for a casual listener can be the cause of a meltdown for a die hard fan because die hard fans are hypersensitive to everything Gaga related. Also, she likes everything she reacts to because it brings her views, she isn't really in position to throw shade. :awkney:

Most of the time the stans are simply setting themselves up for a meltdown due not to expectations set by Gaga, but how they themselves project how the songs would sound like, or how the promo would roll out, or how the videos would look.

I have high expectations of Shallow and they are met and exceeded. I don't see Bjork fans complain about every single decision made on her music....  you love it or you don't , but to dissect and criticise the technical aspects of the song is very disrespectful to the artist IMO.

First, I didn't try to justify cheap attacks or negative remarks some monsters had to say about Shallow since they bother me too, but the reasons why Shallow had this kind of reception. I said that Ajayll's reaction as a casual listener is by default different from the reaction of one of us, since we invest a lot more time, energy and effort into Gaga and hers songs and as fans, we naturally hyperanalyze everything that is related to her. Again, a minor inconvenience such as the mixing of the song, the unusual structure or the crowd noises can go unnoticed by a casual listener but be perceived as a tragedy by one of us.

Second of all, as a Bjork fan I have to disagree and say that you should follow Bjork more closely. Ever since Medulla she is criticized by her fans that her music is atonal, hollow, lacking melody. Volta gained mixed reception from her fans and Utopia mixed to good reception, you just assumed they don't criticize her because you don't see it, because you probably don't follow her closely. And not say that Bjork's legacy as an innovative artist make this even more shocking, but not so much since complains are expected and inevitable in every fanbase..

I love Bjork (and i loved Volta :firega: ) but you may be right. I generally don't pay attention to stan culture outside of Gaga and Mariah (who are certainly much worse than Gaga fans). All I'm saying is we should all wait for the album to see how it flows, and perhaps we'll understand that  the musical decisions made are not arbitrary  ( especially in the case of musicians like Gaga).

Love Ajay so much but she's been doing long ass videos for a while with like 6 ads for ONE song so I can't sit through all of that anymore. I'm glad to see that she loved it though!

I am the one who should ask you who  you are since you are the less active user and have less reputation points than me. Fortunately I don't have any curiosities. :spin:
