Wasn't that Justin Bieber?

Yep, but I kind of see her song “Work” as something that helped push that sound even more. Even songs that were scrapped/rejected by Rihanna (Cheap Thrills, In Shape of You) had a Dancehall/Tropical House sound.

God I can't wait

I honestly did NOT appreciate her enough back in the day when she was releasing a new album and new hits every single year; I didn't really get into her until later after she had stepped back a bit.

But now I'm so ready for her

well it dont matter when you can make dozens of them. and when you dont release music for four/five years and people are still thirsty for your new content. queen of what expiration date?

Not what I meant, wasn't talking about her relevancy, obviously Rihanna will be an icon of 2010s era. But to me personally, her songs have an expiration date, meaning they don't age well, and they get tiring after a while but that is obviously the majority of people's cup of tea.

Messy, but amazing

That’s what I meant haha although I can see how that would be easily misinterpreted  My bad. I LOVE unapologetic. I want this new album to be even better

nah thats kind of tea. HOWEVER, i do think that she has as many "classics" as most pop stars, just about 10 more hits that age not as well on top of that lol.

Hoping she throws in 1 amazing blues/jazz number like Love on the Brain tho  I am so ready for dance music to come back to the radio, I cannot take these terrible repetitive watered down trap beats anymore
