I personally feel like her voice doesn’t sound as good as it did in the version we got in the trailer. I am kind of disappointed. Though the song is a smash, it’s still #1 on iTunes..it should be changed to the trailer version ASAP. Sorry. Her voice is beautiful and here it doesn’t sound as powerful, anthematic as the trailer. 

 

Gaga is wonderful. This may just be a matter of opinion - but it seems the majority of the fans and people I heard listen to it have all said, “wait it sounded sooo much better in the trailer.”

these opinions we have are not attacks on Gaga - they’re constructive critism and as her fans, we just want the very best for her - and that comes with wanting the best version of the song released. 

I hope it hits as hard as it did in the trailer during the movie when I see it. It’s just too powerful and wonderful to pass up...

To me it sounds like it’s been slapped together using different versions of the song, very choppy. And the first chorus is an absolute anticlimax. 

Could have been incredible, but I still like it. Sure I’ll prefer it in the context of the movie.

The mixing in the final chorus should have been better and call OP disgusting all you want. Doesn't change the truth. For a film with a promotional campaign like ASIB it is underwhelming and a tad disappointing. I still do like the song though

I think this is a Til it Happens To You kind of situation. A good song that has potential to sound so much better but is limited by the way it's produced/recorded/mixed or whatever you want to call it, not letting every element of the song shine the way it should, not enough space after the buildup. I love the song itself but from a technical point of view I do agree it lacks clarity and punch and something somewhere went wrong with the production. I'm pretty sure they recorded these songs in the studio too, not just live, didn't they?

You think? The structure (verse verse bridge chorus chorus) is very atypical imo
